Jennifer Ohsie & Alex Quilici
ennifer Ohsie and Alex Quilici were married on October 19, 2012, at the Montecito
Country Club, on the main lawn overlooking Santa Barbara. The couple, who were engaged
in Maui during a sunset stroll on the beach, decided on Montecito as their destination wedding
venue. They traveled from their home in Seattle, Washington to tie the knot, while 100 guests looked on.
For over a year, Jennifer and Alex would see each other every day from afar, as they worked across
the street from one another. They later officially met at a bar when the bride-to-be was with two girlfriends,
and the groom-to-be was with his friend. All of those friends were guests at the wedding. “It was so
wonderful to be able to celebrate with them, as they were with us from ‘hello,’ to ‘I do,’” Jennifer recalls.
The couple settled on a soft and romantic wedding theme, and accents of chevron stripes added a
modern touch. The event centered on cream and grey colors, with soft pink hues. Once the ceremony, which
overlooked the ocean, was finished, the
bride, dressed in Vera Wang, and her groom
walked down the aisle to “Here Comes the
Sun” by The Beatles.
The couple returned to Maui, the spot
where they were engaged, to honeymoon.
