rtist Jordan Pope is celebrating her
twelve-year anniversary of opening
Montecito’s Portico Gallery by creating
the series
The Twelve Months of Light
. This is a
collection of master-sized oil paintings depicting
the stunning light on Santa Barbara’s rare south-
facing beaches and mountains in the different
months of the year. On a quest to capture our unique light, Jordan relocated from the Seattle area twelve years ago. The series continues with nine
of its twelve paintings completed. The finished part of the collection is sold out, and Jordan hopes to complete the last three works this season.
Jordan’s paintings are exhibited and available for purchase at the Portico Gallery, located at 1235 Coast Village Road in Montecito.
