The Bungalows
T
he
smallest
standard guestroom (bungalow) at Pelican Hill measures
847 square feet; the suites, 1600 square feet. Each bungalow suite has
a living room, separate bedroom, and a pullout couch area. Every room has a
step-in tub and shower, a fireplace, and a terrace.
The Resort opened in November 2008 over the Thanksgiving
weekend. The golf club opened one year earlier (in 2007); both courses
were closed in 2005, giving Fazio two years to enhance the layouts on each.
“He helped make it a more sustainable course and installed a water
quality system which captures up to fifty million gallons a year of recycled
rainwater. We collect it and use it to irrigate the entire resort,” Kate explains.
