Hill. During a short interview and after a 90-minute lesson, he explains

his philosophy. “If you look at all the great players that have won fifty-

plus PGA tour events,” he says, “there are seven guys, and they all

had seven different golf swings. If you look at the LPGA, there are six

ladies and they each have a different golf swing. So, we try to match the

individual with what their body can and can’t do, and what they’d

                like

it to do. We look at their natural tendencies; if they’ve had success in

some other sports, we try to adapt some of that in there, too.”

Glenn offers a program of half-day golf schools: half-day putting,

half-day chipping, pitching, and bunker play, and a half-day on the full

swing. The half-day golf schools are held one weekend a month, but

Glenn can customize an event for couples or small groups. The Resort

also offers, of course, individual and couple lessons.

              Players don’t have to be guests at the resort to play the course;

the regular $305 green fee (Resort guests get a discount) includes a

forecaddie who’ll ride along on the back of one of the carts and, most

importantly, help you read the greens!

The Resort at Pelican Hill announces special packages at certain

times of the year, and it would be wise to get on the mailing list (www.

              You will not be disappointed.
