Tiffany Steeves
& Keith Marbourg
Wanting her Canadian family to see
California’s true beauty, bride Tiffany Steeves
decided San Ysidro Ranch would be the
perfect place to marry her beau of two years,
Keith Marbourg. The couple, who met online,
wanted to share an intimate evening with
their closest family and friends, and decided on a small wedding at the iconic Montecito resort on
September 11, 2010.
After the ceremony, a cocktail hour was held in the Ranch’s Wine Cellar; guests were then
treated to dinner in the Colman Cottage. Lighted votives, lavender candlesticks, and pastel flowers
brought a romantic feeling to the space, tying into the couple’s Vintage French theme. Dessert was
served on the patio outside the cottage so guests could enjoy the warm September night.
The bride, dressed in Vera Wang, and her groom danced the night away to the tunes of Santa
Barbara-based Soul Majestic, a reggae band. “Our friends and family gave the most wonderful
speeches, bringing tears to everybody’s eyes. It felt more like an intimate dinner party with all of our best
friends,” Tiffany says.
The couple, who now reside in La Jolla, wanted to honeymoon without taking an airplane; they enjoyed a road trip up the central coast of California, to
Carmel and Big Sur, where they stayed in a yurt perched atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific.
