The Move to Montecito

Linda Chase
says it didn’t take her long to figure out that moving to
Montecito was the right thing to do. She had offices in L.A. and Manhattan for many
years, but after the 1994 Northridge earthquake, she moved full-time to New York City.
She then purchased a weekend home in Connecticut that became her permanent residence after
the attacks of September 11, 2001. “We were six blocks from the towers,” she recounts, “and we
couldn’t go back.”
