o-owner of Trésor (with Paco Buxton), Jeremy Norris says the idea behind his artisanship
and business is “treasures.” Notice vibrancy on the rubellite tourmaline and moonstone
necklace, with earrings (6). The tourmaline from Brazil, and moonstones from Sri Lanka, are set
in 18k yellow gold. Norris notes that the “uniformity of color in the rubellite tourmaline makes the piece.” Each
of the four rings is set to cut and color to best compliment the center stone.
The Columbian emerald (3) pops because of the diamond-accented mounting, which Norris purchased at an estate sale.
Brazilian rubellite tourmaline sits in white gold with diamonds, (5) a George Brooks design (another jeweler-designer based in Montecito).
Cabochon lavender jade is the core of a multi-diamond circle, on a yellow gold base (4).
Norris says of the Burma ruby and yellow diamond ring (2) that up to “3 continents can be represented in a piece.” Two make for this one’s
richness in color: the ruby being from Burma, and the diamonds from Africa.
A diamond and emerald bracelet (1), designed by George Brooks, completes this glimpse of Trésor’s treasures. The texture of the 18k yellow
gold provides an “organic, earthy” appeal.
